Mondeggi Bene Comune. Bagno a Ripoli. FI. Alessio Capezzuoli known as "Il Cape" is a graduate in Agriculture and, like other occupants of Mondeggi "a common good", is belonging from the political collective of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Florence. The choice that led him to Mondeggi was the search for a place to do quality agriculture following the small-scale model that goes against the trend of large-scale organized distribution.
To do a certain type of agriculture there is a need for political work behind it, he says, adding that the model he is following creates and works independently.
Mondeggi is a political project born to protect the abandoned land and give it to those who need to work on the territory, instead of giving it up to capitalist speculations; perhaps it is the most particular project in the agricultural Italy of the third millennium, but thewhole country , especially in the central regions it is full of similar experiences; people who in groups or at family level have chosen to live of a land they cultivate in an ethical manner.
