Starting in the forties of the last century Lima has grown a lot, the terrible period of terrorism has brought even more people fleeing from the country, the huge part of the extreme periphery is a slum with minimal services metaphorically called "pueblo joven" . The program "Barrio mio", promoted by the Progressive Alliance of Lima Metropolitana (Mayor Susana Villaran 2010-2014) has encouraged education and coesiona among the people, while increasing infrastructure such as the inclusion of trees in the streets. They are the citizens themselves must adopt them, plant them and treat them
