This kid seems to have enormous fun playing with a bunch of discarded clippings from the shoe and / or paper industry. We are in a workshop of games with waste materials, a project of the Bi-Done association in Capannori in the province of Lucca. The child seems to symbolize the happiness generated by the good social practices that in this Tuscan town that does not live from tourism but from small industry. Capannori is the place where in Italy the Zero Waste movement started, that is to contain waste by rethinking its concept and use from the roots.
In the case of Bi-Done, clean waste has become an object of play, but there are many other uses and in many sectors, which from Capannori touch all of Italy.
