Salvador de Bahia.The african soul/BRAZIL { 50 images } Created 6 Jun 2016

Living Bahia is plunging into something more of typical Brazilian happiness and joy of living, here is the african soul of Brazil, a centuries-old bond, since the ancestors of the present inhabitants were slaves, sailors, indigenous people, traders and poor people seeking their fortune in the new world. Cultural identity is markedly african, music, dance and religion as the main points in a magnificent setting of palaces and colonial churches which have earned Salvador de Bahia the status of UNESCO heritage of Humanity.
