Land Project/ ITALY { 87 images } Created 16 Sep 2019

From decades after the economic boom that transformed Italy from a peasant country into an industrial country, after decades from protests and radical anti-system choices ... In the new millennium many people in the country have made the choice to return to the earth, but more than anything else of living it ethically. For the most part they are young, some are very new, others are dated, for some it is a political choice, for others, many others, it is simply a desire to live as an alternative to the dominant model, but at the same time almost no one it is isolated based on self-sufficiency ...
It is a small world made up of rural realities that interacts well with the big city society.

 • Mondeggi Bene Comune. Bagno a Ripoli. FI. Alessio Capezzuoli known as "Il Cape" is a graduate in Agriculture and, like other occupants of Mondeggi "a common good", is belonging from the political collective of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Florence. The choice that led him to Mondeggi was the search for a place to do quality agriculture following the small-scale model that goes against the trend of large-scale organized distribution.
To do a certain type of agriculture there is a need for political work behind it, he says, adding that the model he is following creates and works independently.
Mondeggi is a political project born to protect the abandoned land and give it to those who need to work on the territory, instead of giving it up to capitalist speculations; perhaps it is the most particular project in the agricultural Italy of the third millennium, but thewhole country , especially in the central regions it is full of similar experiences; people who in groups or at family level have chosen to live of a land they cultivate in an ethical manner.
